Yes, You Can Get Pizza Delivered to Your RV

Back when we had a house we would usually get pizza delivered a couple of times a month. We had a terrific local place that always did a great job making our favorite pizza topped with sausage, onions, artichoke hearts, and feta. And their delivery drivers were always polite, friendly, and professional.

After selling the house to live in our trailer full time, that pizza place was one of the things we missed most. I don’t think we even tried any other pizza places for the first couple of months of our travels. And then the pandemic made getting food from any restaurant a challenge and a much more weighty decision.

I think we only had one pizza in the first five months of 2020. And it wasn’t a very good one.

But we are back out to traveling now. And still missing pizza. And we have discovered that it really isn’t that difficult to get pizza delivered to our RV. This surprised us.

If you can explain where you are, and how to get to you, there is a pretty darn good chance that the local pizza place will happily take your delivery order, and your money. With a lot of restaurant dining rooms still closed, and lots fewer folks eating out, many restaurant owners have learned to get pretty creative. So asking them to deliver to the Weeping Willows RV Resort, site 27, look for the brown trailer with a cocktail flag, might not actually be as weird now as you would think.
